The Iron Giant // Conceptual Poster
The Iron Giant conceptual poster. Gears in the chest represent the heart, circuit board lines at the top reference constellations in the sky.

The Iron Giant (Redesign) // C4D
I couldn’t figure out how to model The Iron Giant so I tweaked it a bit and redesigned it. It’s still not finished, have a lot of exploring to do but learning a lot through exploration.

The Iron Giant // C4D
Modeled The Iron Giant’s head for a school project. It came out decent but I’m stumped on how to model the chest. Also trying to figure out lighting so I’ve been experimenting with different lighting situations. Got a lot of work to do.
Tracking Test // C4D+AE
Been trying to get tracking down so I can start “realistically” developing concepts for a series of videos I plan on making this summer. I like to know I can do something before I plan a video out. This tracking test video isn’t exciting but it’s definitely a huge leap because I could never really get Boujou to work the way I wanted it too with C4D but now that I can use AE for all of my tracking needs and export that data to C4D it’s really become a lifesaver. Still need to work out some issues because even though I can get a track and get it to work its there’s still issues with plane alignment which is a pain but at least this time around im yielding results!
Bedroom // C4D
Been getting into modeling interiors lately. Using minimalist bedrooms as inspiration, trying to mimic the room for the most part but altering it ever so slightly. Also I keep throwing my Goomba model in scenes, probably going to be sitting in all the rooms I make as a little signature haha
Attack of the Goomba’s // Test Animation
A test animation for a short I plan on making. Ran into a lot of issues (flickering ahhh) and this render is far from perfect but I wanted to make a video out of it anyways. I was gonna render out another version but this one took 11 hours and I figured might as well save that for the final.
Made in Cinema 4D, edited in After Effects.
Attack of the Goomba’s // Cinema 4D
Wanted to put that Goomba model I made awhile back to good use so I built a little Super Mario Bros inspired scene. Animation is actually ready to go I just need to pick a day where I can dedicate 10+ hrs for this to render out haha
Cubes // CInema 4D
Playing with cubes ^__^
iPhone 4s // Cinema 4D
In honor of the passing of my iPhone 4s (RIP) I spent my Friday afternoon working on modeling an iPhone to cope with the loss /: Had to put it on hold because I had other work to finish up but I may come back to it and do some product visualization animation with it when I finish the rest of the details. Been studying several product visualization techniques and it’s definitely improved my workflow dramatically.
